    Product is as advertised. The only drawbacks are the heating unit cannot be set to a specific temperature I.E. 76 degrees so as to maintain that selected temperature. Unable to turn off flame lights when unit is in heat mode. I am heating a room that is over 400 sq. ft. and it does a good job of evenly heating the room. Because the unit is not thermastatically controlled, I shut the unit on and off remotely to regulate the desired room temperature.

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

    THE FIREPLACE ITSELF IS BEAUTIFUL, EASY TO ASSEMBLE. hOWEVER I AM MISSING THE SCREEN FOR THE FRONT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT TIMELY WITH MY CONCERN. I CANT ENJOY IT TO ITS FUL POTENTIAL
