We purchased this for our new grandson to accompany the dresser and crib bought elsewhere. The color matches perfectly. The hutch was easy to assemble, unlike the dresser and crib! Good quality furniture but scratches easily because it's pine, which is soft wood. That was to be expected. The only thing we don't like about the hutch is that the large screws show on the inside top shelves. This was driving our daughter crazy so I bought some dark brown, self-adhesive felt pads -- the kind used for chair legs. I cut the pads down to size and inserted them over the recessed screws. They covered the screws nicely and can't really be seen unless you know they're there.

The completed product turned out very nice. The construction was somewhat difficult because the instructions were a bit confusing. However, any reasonable person with a screwdriver and small hammer should be able to build it. [...] The drawers are made of a cheap, lesser wood than the rest of the unit. Overall though, a very attractive and well designed product.
