    We like the look of the bed and the size but some of the parts are cheap plastic & are actually brown so they don't match the bed (black). Not super sturdy & we don't know how it's convertible because there are no additional parts. But, we're glad we got the bed because we want a nostalgic looking room & this fits the decor perfectly. It doesn't take up tons of space either & can be used any direction or in the center of the room.

    Do NOT buy from Cymax though because they take forever to ship & add extra charges to your order (then say it's because they're in Canada & have no control over the fees--but never tell you that when you order the item).

    Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
