I need to say the shipping took longer than it said it would. I purchased the bed thinking it shipped 3-5 business days as stated on the web, well two weeks late no one could tell me why it had not shipped yet. I finally got the bed three weeks later. The biggest con for us on the bed is that you can not inter-change the ladder side with the desk side, which sucked for us as this did not go well with how we wanted to place the bed. SO we had to reorganize the room to make it work and will not be able to change his room around in the future. Other than that mishap it works for my 10 year old son.

My sons bedroom is so small big enough to fit a full size bed and a dresser with not much room around it afterwards. It never felt like a bedroom and never really looked together or kept. I bought this after he graduated highschool. I got the idea after looking at dorm room possibilities. It was a great solution and the room actually feels and looks like a well kept neatly organized bedroom. I bought a nice pillowtop serta mattress which I would recommend for older kids for comfort (weight). The bed was missing the cd rack and I called cymax and without delay they sent me another. This is one of the best purchases I have made and would highly recommend it

Bought this for school for my dorm because it's such a small space. This has worked out well. It squeaks a little bit but probably because I put it together myself and I'm not technically inclined. All in all I'm pretty happy with it.
