I wanted to get rid of my night stand, as I have limited space in my bedroom, so I wanted a bookcase headboard, and found just what I wanted at Bedroom Furniture and More. I know the material is just particle board, but the faux cherry veneer looks so nice, and assembling the headboard was easy, under 2 hours, and everything fit together perfectly. This product is very sturdy, and I think it would be a nice addition to any bedroom, on any budget.

Product great - Prepac not so great

We have a smallish master bedroom, so this bookcase headboard works very well. The finish is nice and goes very well with other woods in the room. It was time-consuming but not difficult to assemble. However, Prepac put the wrong address on the shipping label and it took three weeks to receive the piece with much work and muss and fuss with UPS. That's why the 3-star rating. The piece of furniture deserved a 5-star but Prepac got "no" stars. Bedroom Furniture N More had given Prepac the correct address, but Prepac entered it incorrectly on the label. Therefore, I would recommend the piece to a friend but would suggest they find it elsewhere, if possible.

I am very disappointed in the bookcase headboard because it does not function how I expected. [...] there is a small difference between full/ queen it is made to fit both. This is a freestanding bookcase headboard that rests between the bed and wall.

All in all it goes great with the storage bed. One thing though, you've got to have a delicate hand when installing parts that require you to put one part onto the plastic double-ended dowels. I pushed them right through the top. Was able to push them back through and you can barely see the damage but, maybe it should be a little sturdier, but it's mostly my fault.

You get what you pay for. Not expensive,looks good but not likely to passed generation to generation.

The headboard worked very well for our smaller bedroom and was exactly the size we needed. It allowed us to place the bed right below a window. The only negative...with our pillow-top mattress being a bit taller, the lower shelf in the headboard is right where our pillows are, so they slide backwards a bit sometimes while we sleep.

Once assembled, you realize that the headboard does not actually attach in any way to the bed. If you have wood flooring, you will find that the bed slides and does not stay level with the headboard. We had to come up with some creative ways to tackle this issue.

Bought this as a temporary headboard and I'm happy with my purchase. I've put furniture together before and this took awhile which I think could be solved by better instructions.

This headboard worked out so well for me. I am glad I decided to purchase it. I have the matching double/full bed and they look great together! I love the shelves and extra space for my clock etc. It was easy to put together. Just to let you know that it sits up against the bed. It is not meant to fit overtop the bed, which is still fine with me. I am very pleased with the headboard.
