I have a small galley kitchen and was trying to think of something that would free up counter space. I came across this cart which works nicely for my cookbooks. My kitchen cabinets are white and the top of this is just under the lip of my counter top.

I will say that I use some book holders from the local office supply shop to hold the books upright and prevent them from falling over when I remove one - but I had that on the countertop.

The only negative is that one of the casters does not swivel so it's a good thing I'm not planning on moving this too often.

This is a really attractive Microwave cart that is perfect for small spaces. I was disappointed that my toaster oven would not fit on the middle shelf. It's great for storage though! Easy to put together. I really am glad I purchased it.

I use this for a peninsula in a small kitchen; it provides a strong, stable prep space and storage area in one unit.

It took a long time to get replacement parts but once we did we are pleased with the product.

*** Things that are great:

This is a quality product. It's easy to assemble, it's sturdy, it's nice-looking, and it's reasonably-priced. Overall, I am satisfied with it.

*** Things that are not so great:

I have only two problems with the design:

1. The shelves consist of numerous planks/boards, which result in hard-to-clean spaces between the planks. I would prefer a solid shelf board, for easier cleaning.

2. The shelves have open/exposed countersunk screw head holes at the end of each plank, on the top of the shelf plank. These holes accumulate debris and are hard to clean.

*** How I use this product:

My unit is placed right next to my stove as a semi-permanent unit; this leads to my cleanability concerns. I purchased a plastic white cutting board which I put on top of it, so I have a more-durable, cutting-board top rather than the wood top on this unit. It is very handy and compact next to the stove, in my small kitchen. Overall I am satisfied with this purchase.
