Our 12-drawer captain’s bed features twelve 23” deep drawers – amazing! In addition there are three 17” drawers in the staircase, a center storage cubbie, and additional cubbies around the side of the bed as seen on the right side in this photo.

(2) 6 Drawer Chests – 23” deep drawers offer a whole bureau’s worth of storage. The drawer slides are sturdy and reliable. The slides have a stop position when extended making it safe and easy to put away clothes and everything you need to store.

Berg’s signature staircase – This is a great feature. Replacing the old fashioned ladder, this innovative staircase with built-in drawers and shelves, offers practical storage space. The non-slip tread, a wised and roomy stepping surface, along with the handrail allows quick and safe access to the top bed. The stairs can also be used for sitting during reading or any other family & friend get-together.

The bed – The loft bed is low enough to accommodate toddlers as well as being practical for teenagers. The bed which includes a solid foundation has safety side rails and accommodates a standard mattress up to 7” thick.

Cubby storage – opposite the stair end there is cubby storage which is 18” deep, large enough for games, craft, art supplies and books. Additional front of bed cubby storage is 23” deep.

Durable laminate construction – Berg’s laminate is durable, holds up to kids play, and is cleanable with non-abrasive cleaners.

Drawer construction – European design using glue and dowels makes the drawers spacious and solid. All sides are finished with durable/easy to clean material. Berg uses a high quality, lifetime warranted, drawer hardware.
