I was very pleased when I received my desk. This desk is incredibly sturdy and provides a great surface for both writing and computer work. It's not clear from the pictures, but the surface of the desk is fairly large. I have no problem fitting an LCD monitor, keyboard, books and paper on this desk. As mentioned, the sturdiness makes this all the better -- the "home office" desks typically found at brick and mortars seem flimsy in comparison. The curved top surface is a nice feature.

There are a few things to think about before buying this desk. The desk can be fairly heavy, and the curved top requires you to think, in advance, how it will be placed in a room. Since the front edge of the top surface is not straight, but curved, the desk may not go well with your room arrangement; the desk is designed more for an "open room" rather than for facing a corner or a wall. Make sure to check the measurements of the desk with your room before ordering.

Overall, I am very happy with this desk. It's the best home office desk I have ever own, and I am very productive on this desk due to its comfortable dimensions and sturdiness.

I needed something for my home office, but of course was looking for a desk that provided all of the features of an actual office environment. I needed something sturdy that felt like it could give me many years of daily use.

It is still a "pressed wood" type of setup and it ships collapsed in a box. The assembly is straightforward and the feel of it seems sturdier than those desks you might find in the big box stores. I can break it down into a couple of pieces if I need to move and feel as if it would survive a trip pretty well.

So, far it has worked for me.
