The design is very good in regards of stability of the desk. Unfortunately there are no provisions made to rout cables through the back walls of the desk. The provisions in the back of the hutch for cables have limited use only. I ended up drilling 2" diameter holes in the back plate.

This desk is great in our new office. We actually purchased the whole line of Somerset furniture. The color is very complimentary. The style is clean and modern. The design is streamlined. However, each desktop already has a few scratches. The finish is not very strong/durable. If the furniture is taken care of, it will last. But, if it's used heavily or abused, it will show very quickly. The furniture also has a strong odor, likely the glue used for the veneer. The odor is still pretty strong, especially inside the closed drawers/cabinets that don't have as much of a chance to air out. Overall, the furniture was a great purchase for us, the price was right, the quality is good and the look is very clean and cohesive. We had a service assemble the furniture. I would definitely recommend that to anyone that doesn't want to mess with the assembly. It was well worth the price.

Love the Desk. Takes a while to assemble, and once it is together, you don't want to have to move it. Also, chips easily so need to be careful while constructing. Overall, great for the price!

Overall, I was very impressed with this desk. It looks really stylish and fits well with our home office decor. It takes some time to assemble (about 2-3 hrs), but is well worth it. My only minor complaint is that the top drawer and keyboard shelf don't slide as smooth as I would like.

Needed a home office. Saw the Bush furniture at an 'office superstore'. It seemed to fill the gap between crud and too-expensive. [...]. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. However, assembly time was over 3 hours for the desk, another 2-3 hours for the hutch. Some pieces were marred, however Bush was very good about sending replacements for the damaged items.The "Hansen Cherry" finish scratches way too easily. However, I'm satisfied with the purchase. The Bush furniture has more wood than one usually finds these particleboard days. You get what you pay for. If you don't want garbage yet don't have thousands to spend for solid wood furniture, Bush is a decent value.

I like the look of this desk, it's simple, not over the top. It is very sturdy, and well built. I like the total desk area, works well with monitor, speakers, printer, and anything else you have. It has a very smooth writing area, and easy to clean.

Dont care for the keyboard tray, if you dont push it in evenly it wont go in. Took sometime to build, but instructions are well written. Dont care for the CPU storage at all, really hard to connect, and disconnect cables. You have to pull the whole CPU out. It needs a open area in the back to let air in, so the CPU doesnt overheat, and to get to the cables easier. Desk is pretty heavy and very hard to move around. Still a good desk overall.
