The bookshelves are very cute and the color is warm. However, the legs are very ugly. They are made of a greenish/brown hard plastic. I was under the impression they were metal. In the end I chose to not install them.

The maple veener is also very thin which makes the surface easy to scratch, though I see this as more of a problem for the computer desk.

I was also unimpressed w/ the thin back part of the bookcase, which came folded in 3 and if you look close enough you can see the creases in the material.

Overall I think it is a bit overpriced for the quality. I expected more!

The unit looks good and the pieces fit together well. The downside is the legs are cheap plastic, yet the picture makes them look like a brushed chrome. But other than that, the unit looks very good and holds my heavy photo albums no problem; and it matches my much more expensive maple tables in the same room.

The bookshelf is a nice looking piece, and if pretty sturdy - although moving it requires you to turn it sideways else you may break off the legs, so you need two people to do it. Aside from that it doesnt hold a lot of books, but the shelfs are wider then my last one so I can double up books in some places to make up for it.
