I know these things can be a pain to put together and this was no exception.They use pics and for the most part they are good but there are hardly any written instructions and in a few cases the pics were not clear on what you should do and a little written explanation would have helped.The only real complaint is that one of the main side panels had a large crack in it and it had clearly been glued,it was on the inside so you could not see it after assembly but I do not think you should get glued parts on something brand new.I did call and they are sending a new piece but it could take 4 weeks to get.

I am a 62 yr young female & assembled myself. Can move by myself by pushing/pulling but felt it might loosen & really need to actually pick up. The one thing I am disappointed with is the way the files guides are in the drawers.... flimsy & drawer guides are plastic with no real grooves so files slip off all the time. I am going to try to install more heavy duty metal file guides so this won't happen. Otherwise, beautiful & ok to assemble & love the desk & hutch with the cabinet...classy looking office.

What a great filing cabinet. I had been looking all over for a stylish filing cabinet that didn't exactly scream file cabinet when looked at. This is it. I am a photographer and I have tons of contracts and model releases that I need to keep filed and organized. This cabinet works great. The drawers are large and easy to open. Sorting through the files is quick and easy. It fits nice in my office. The only complaint I have is that the assembly directions were a little vague making assembly a bit time consuming. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

This is a great piece of furniture for the price. It holds a lot and is very attractive. It did take my experienced husband about 2 1/2 hours to assemble and the box is heavy to lift. I had problems with the sliders and rails popping out of place and dumping my letter size files. My husband solved this problem by covering the sliders with electric tape, which holds everything in place. I'm very pleased with this selection.
