Nice appearance though and does what it needs to do as a hutch, the only drawback is the backing, from the front it looks like paneled wood, but is really just cardboard paper that you nail in to the back of the hutch with 60+ nails...

This could have been designed better. I would have preferred a more sturdy option with lag cam bolts, but oh well, it serves it's purpose. Just don't expect this thing to hold up in a move.

We are using it in our house for now and plan about a 5 year life out of it, then we'll ether pawn it off but moving this or breaking it down would destroy it

This is a very attractive product. We receive good comments on the hutch with the L-shaped desk all of the time. The only issue we had with it was it came boxed with some wrong parts and some parts missing. Eventhough it took a while to get ahold of Cymax customer service, they did send us the part we needed to complete the desk. Why can it not come boxed correctly the first time? I do not know.
