Assembled with no problem. Just be sure to LEVEL and SQUARE the base unit before dropping top on. If done properly top drops onto the base pegs with no problem whatsoever. strongly recommend that the base unit be set exactly in desired position before setting the top onto the base. Truly love the rich look and the STURDINESS. SOLID!! This is a superb piece of furniture for the price.

I use this desk for business and personal at home. I was shocked how easy it was to throw together. the only negative is that the finish on a corner on the computer tray wore away a little but no big deal. Love it!

Love my new desk. My husband and I enjoyed putting it together. There was nothing hard about it. It is the beautiful centerpiece of our in-home office. The only thing I would change, is the drop-down front of the keyboard drawer. It is a little in my way.

Purchased both desk and hutch. [...] This desk is very nice looking. My daughter is using it in her bedroom. It gives her a large amount of work surface but fits in her room nicely. The desk is very sturdy; in fact, the desktop weighs a significant amount so the arriving package is quite heavy. The two sections may be assembled in another room and put in place for final assembly - need two people for final. The desk looks good too!

I was afraid when I read a few reviews, but decidedto purchase the desk anyway. My 14 yr old had his heart set on this desk. [...].It did take a while to put together but it was pretty easy. All in all.... I'd buy it again!!!

This computer desk is in my home office area. It took my husband 6 hours to assemble but is worth it. Very attractive and heavy duty. Would highly recommend it.

Took awhile to put together,could use more written instructions and would recommended a 12 pack on hand :)this would be very helpful about half way through,also you should keep your wife out of the room for all but a little help in putting the large section of the top on.

I have no complaints. It is perfect for my home office and it is very sturdy definitely worth the money. All the pieces were a little intimidating at first, but the directions are simple and easy to follow, I was able to put the desk together all by myself as well as the hutch, the 2 drawer lateral file storage cabinet and the 48" computer desk and hutch for it as well. Very well built for it to not be wood.

This is a beautiful desk that really completes my home office. It's very sturdy - great for every day use. I work full-time from my house and this desk is perfect for my needs. It has ample computer and writing space. I also purchased the hutch and lateral file cabinet, both of which I highly recommend. Great product!!!
