Hard to put together!

We built the desk over two days, and it did take many hours. I thought the directions were well done. I'm glad we had a drill for all the screws.
No problems with any damage to the parts during shipping despite damage on the outside of the box - so the packaging is done well!
One thing I will note is how wide the desk surface is. We should have paid more attention to that, because we cannot move the desk out of the room without disassembling it- the desk is wider than the door! We noticed before finishing, and opted to build it in the room anyway, because it's a beautiful desk and so heavy that moving it may require disassembly anyway.

Bought it as a study desk and love the 29+ inches depth on the top of the desk and the abundance of storage space (don't have a CPU, so using that space for storage too). The package was HEAVY. Assembling the desk was not very complicated, but took a long time (about 5 hours). The problem I had is that, the hutch connects to the desk with just 2 screws and while getting the unit vertical from the horizontal assembly position the 2 screws lost their grip and the hutch did not feel very stable on top of the desk. However, after nailing in the back cover of the hutch with the desk, it was stable enough. Need to have at least 3 people helping at certain stages of the assembly process. Overall, I am very happy and satisfied with the ordering process, delivery and the product as a whole.

I put this desk in my living room and boy does it stand out. I had some friends come over and they were in love. Some are going to replace their older more expensive computer desk for this one. The cherry wood color is Perfect. My wife, who doesnt like anything, is in love with this desk. We have a 1 yr old son who plays with everything, so the door on the computer tower area is genius and stylish. The only thing i disliked was how long it took to build, 8 hrs total, but in hindsight it was soooo worth it. I would rate a 10 out of 10.

This computer desk and hutch is a very sturdy piece of furniture and quite attractive. It is very heavy when fully assembeled. Screwed the hutch to the desk for stability and removability.

It is easy to assemble but it really does take 4 to 6 hours to put it together. It is a good desk but I would look at a clearance center first. You might find something comparable that doesn't need to be assembled.

We use the desk in a home office. It exceeds our expectations and fits our puposes perfectly. The unit was one of the easiest I have ever assembled.
I would hightly recommend it to anyone.

This desk is very sturdy and very handsome, well designed and parts labeled very good, if you lay out the parts and take your time it goes together very easily, in a couple of steps another person is needed, but overall I am very pleased with the ease of assembly, and would recommend it to anyone who is patient. One problem we did fine which is not the desks fault, the computer tower doesn't get enough ventilation in the bottom left door, but other than that it is just what she wanted. And with it being veneered over particle board we put a plexiglass cover on the desktop.
