Cleaning instructions:

I was disappointed that the color is more slate/gray and cherry than black and cherry as it appears in the picture. I am not sure I would have purchased it knowing the color - it was purchased to match a Bush corner desk, purchased through you, that definitely is black and cherry.

Overall, very pleased with this product. Only issue I had is with the wheels. They work too good. I have hardwood floors and this thing would scoot all over the place when opening drawers. Took the wheels off but the botton file drawer would catch the floor when pulled out. Solved problem by wedging foam into the wheels to keep them from turning. This is a really good file cabinet.

I have this file cabinet at work and love it! I am not the most organized person in the world so my desk is always a bit cluttered. To look professional, it's better to have a clean desk but sometimes by the end of the day, I get too tired to tidy up. I always leave the top drawer space for times like that so I can quickly swipe everything off my desk and store it there. Snacks, lipbalm, papers, they fit perfectly there locked away until the next day.

I bought this file storage cabinet to allow me to clear off the top of my small work space and to keep close my busiest files. And it fulfilled all my expectations. It's well constructed and looks terrific. Complicating assembly was that there were many different kinds of screws and you needed to make sure you used the right ones. The only drawback is that there's no locking mechanism on the rolling wheels, so sometimes the file moves when you open the draws. I wish I had space to order a matching unit with two additional file drawers so I'd have a complete desk area. Great item.

It fits perfectly under my desk and adds valuable storage space. The cherry wood drawer fronts blend well with my existing cherry cabinetry. I like it so much that I ordered a second cabinet. For my application under a desk, it is perfect; but because the sides, top, and back are dark gray, not cherry, it may not work for everyone. Assembly took about an hour, and the finished product is suitably strong for its intended use.
