      This a solid and sturdy television stand. I specifically was looking for this type of design so that I would have a place for my tower media center upright, Xbox 360 and other components. It works great and has a solid wood back support and it isn't that cheap particle board either. A lot of effort was put into the design of this and it shows!

      Love the unit but make sure to read through to the very last step before starting the installation since the instructions are not very clear on which way to install the back supports. Also extremely heavy -- lay out all pieces and carefully check the glass shelves first!
