We are remodeling our son's room and have made several online purchases. This desk was by far the best packaged of all our purchases. Much care went into preventing damage to the pieces. Another item of note was that the instructions were very clear and precise, and all parts were marked. Even the hardware was packaged separately and clearly marked. Of all our purchases, the Bush product was far superior to the rest.

This is a really good looking desk. The assembly is very time consuming, some things probably could have been assembled before boxing it. The biggest flaw is there is absolutely NO extra hardware included with the kit. I had one of the locking dowel screws snap and had to superglue the screw together. I am hoping it hold up when it comes time to move this desk. [...] didn't have any kind of replacement part to try to use. I really would like to give this an excellent rating, but for me, the lack of extra, just in case hardware puts me very close to NOT recommending furniture from Bush. But if you're willing to risk a possible broken piece of hardware with no replacement, this is a good looking and useful desk.

I am glad I bought this desk. It is extremely solid in construction.

The reason it is not easy to move, or assemble is because it weighs 144 pounds, has to be partially disassembled, to fit it through a doorway. It has been designed with that in mind however.

Difficult to assemble. In the sense that the hardware fits very tightly and everything is presicion made, if anybody strips out the wood, or the screws during assembly, it is because they tried. The "Composite Wood" weighs more than some hardwoods, and is closer to Formica in strength or durability.

College and high school students each have this corner desk. It's very stylish in black and has plenty of room for them to spread out their work. There's plenty of storage space with two regular drawers and one file folder drawer. Printer shelf is very handy.
