    The desk is very attractive. It is big, sturdy, but it also has a few drawbacks.
    When I purchased mine I couldn't tell from the description that the legs were made out of plastic. That looks a bit odd and ugly. I was under the impression they were out of the same metal as the drawer handles.

    The maple veneer is very thin and it scratches easily. You will definitely need a mouse pad and a laptop pad.

    The material that the drawers are made out of is cheaper than the rest of the table. The drawers have a different design/color shade as well. They are a bit flimsy and VERY hard to put together right.

    Comments about Bush Furniture Somerset Collection 60" Wood Desk in Maple Cross:

    Very solid work surface with ample space to spread out and work on a computer with multiple monitors. The drawers work fine, although the adjustment to align the edges is tricky. Although one drawer rubs slightly, it is not a problem and minor thing. The most odd feature is the plastic feet. They do not match the color of the wood and look out of place on an otherwise classy looking piece of furniture. The feet should be brushed metal like the nice drawer pulls, or wood finish like the rest.
