    This desk is awesome. I had to sell a similar desk during my last move and never thought this one could measure up. I was wrong. It took a little effort to get it put together but it was well worth it. This desk is heavy, luxurious and gorgeous. My Mother came by for a visit and ended up taking my desk with her when she left now I have to order another one.

    This is a quality office furniture set... the next best to solid wood or veneer wood. It is extremely well engineered and the assembly instructions are pictorial and absolutely accurate, but you need to pay attention to the pictures. And the assembly, while straight forward and relatively simple (a Phillips screwdriver is basically the only tool required), is an all day (long day) project. Some other "words to the wise": [...] This set weighs more than 400 pounds, so unless you have several strong friends on hand at the time of delivery, getting it inside by yourself requires a miracle (or a very cooperative driver willing to risk a hernia).
