              I use this as my home computer desk. It's nice and heavy and seems to be very sturdy. There is plenty of space for my large flat screen monitor and printer/scanner right next to it, leaving a decent amount of space in front for reading my textbooks or writing and the entire right side for any other use. The CPU cabinet holds the computer my husband made me, which is rather large, very nicely (without the extra shelf in place). The drawers on the right are a good size and slide smoothly in the tracks, and I like the open shelf above them. The color of the surface is very pretty and doesn't seem to scratch easily (and any scratches should blend well with the construction anyway), and the hardware is a nice, brushed nickel color. (Also, I found the chair in the picture at Office Max!)

              Assembly was fairly easy, but time consuming. My husband and I, both fairly mechanically inclined, spent several hours over 2 days (in the evenings - not consistently) putting this and the hutch together. I have not encountered any problems/cons yet, so I am very happy!
