Very attractive although the pulls are 3 7/8" and I thought I could replace them. It's not a size you can find here. Sturdy and compact. Great for a smaller office or bedroom office set up. I love having a lot of file drawer space right at my fingertips instead of having to get up and down to go to a file cabinet. It does take a long time to assemble, but then the price reflects that. It is a very good price for the quality of the product.

The Saratoga was a great choice for me. Because I work from home, I need the exta work space of an L-shape and I need something stylish for the occasional business meeting. My consultancy work requires that I manage paperwork as well as files on my computer, but I also offer local clients the opportunity to meet me at home. I need my work space to be tidy and I need to make a professional impression.



I've chosen Bush Furniture before because I've found the quality of their office furniture to be consistent with my personal high standards, and a fit for the aesthetic of my home. Because the finish is durable, I don't mind my kids spending time in my office either.



Actually, since I started using the Saratoga desk, I've come home to find my kids' drink cups and wet artwork left on my desk. Did it wipe away easily? You bet. I could be more pleased and I highly recommend this product.

The desk looks great for the money. It takes a long time and a lot of patience to assemble 12-13 hours just for the desk. The hutch was another 4 hours. However the instructions are right on and the screws and holes are lined up perfectly. Because it is press board construction you have to be carefull not to drop any of the parts. When I peeled off one of the part number stickers part of the veneer came off with sticker.

While I will never order from Cymax again, this desk is absolutely perfect. I agree with others that it is time consuming to assemble but once you have it, it's beautiful...worth it!

I read other reviews on this site before deciding to purchase[...]I purchased the desk due to the large work area and multiple storage drawers. Assembly takes some time(~10hrs. by myself with a few breaks in between) but directions are easy to follow. Use a large handled Phillips screwdriver (power tools aren't recommended) to save you hand from tons of blisters - mine had a rubber grip :) Be sure to set the wooden pegs deeply-don't need to use force with the hammer. The finish will never last with my kiddos (10 & 7) and glass is expensive ($225-$275) to put on top, not sure what I'm going to do about that. I was disappointed to see some plastic assembly pieces (plastic gets brittle over time). However, very sturdy after assembly. Most assembly can be done by one person - very helpful to have another person with a few steps. The only thing I can't comment on (and couldn't find in other reviews) is how well it holds up over time. It would be nice to have one drawer that locks[...]The box was about 8 inches high x 5 feet wide x 3 1/2 feet deep (approximate)and lying on a pallet. There is NO WAY I could've helped load it onto our trailer! We opened the box while it was still on the trailer and carried each piece by hand into the house. The pieces take up a lot of floor space. Best to assemble pieces close the where the desk will be. Many others mentioned how difficult it was to move the desk - my husband and I had no trouble moving the two sections before they were secured together. There is no doubt that moving the desk as one piece would be a nightmare! For your piece of mind, highlight the step in the book that describes securing the two main sections of the desk together. Refer to this step to separate the two main sections so moving is easier!!!

Primary use for this product is a home office. Impressed with the quality of the desk and how well the holes actually lined up. It was time-consuming to put together, and needed two people for the most part, but was not difficult to assemble. Total to assemble was approximately 7 hours. Instructions were clear and easy to understand. All in all, it was a good purchase.

Purchased for our home office as a replacement for a lower quality desk. Assembly was definitely a challenge but each step had a purpose (make sure you have help and patience). Finished product is very nice looking as well as functional. Bush Industries was very responsive when we contacted them for a couple of missing parts. A quality product and great customer service makes for a happy customer!
