This bookcase was a bonus that came free with the desk/hutch set. It too was easy to put together, and everything was there including great instructions. Very roomy with lots of shelf space.

I purchased this hutch to go with the matching desk and together, it is a magnificent piece of furniture. It is also ideal for organizing books due to the partitions. Books do not fall over and they look so attractive in the hutch. Great price, functionality, and appearance.

This hutch is good looking and very sturdy. You will definitely need two strong people to assemble and attach it to the credenza or desk.

The top molding covers only the front, so if you place another unit next to it, they will butt up together smoothly. Under the center doors is a curved piece of molding. This can hide puck lights, if you wish to add some lighting.

The directions tell you to attach the hutch to the top of the desk or credenza first, THEN attach the whole assembly to the body of the desk or credenza. We decided not to do this because it would make the unit too difficult to move. However, if you decide to go this route, you will have to secure the hutch to the desk top from below the desk top, so that the hutch will not move.

The backing board has punch-out perforations on it. There is a large punch-out for old style TV's and monitors. Since this is now passe, it is unattractively visible and needs to be covered with a picture or bulletin board.

The metal hardware on the columns is a nice design feature; however the provided nails are too short.

I did not like the gunmetal color of the hardware. This was easily changed to an antiqued brass by using Rub'nBuff gold leaf, then stippling on top with black paint. Looks great!
