Overall, the stools are great, once assembled. If the assembly had been smoother/easier, I would have given it 5 stars.

The assembly is a bit complicated and one piece will fit in a reversed direction, so watch the orientation carefully. Lastly, as stated in the instructions, don't tighten all the leg bolts until the stool is upright on a level surface to avoid a "rocking" stool.

The bolts holding the seat to the swivel are a little short and can be easily stripped. Once stripped, a replacement metric bolt must be purchased, or an SAE recessed nut and bolt pair.

The second stool went together without issue, after I had "practiced" the assembly on the first stool.

Ordered bar height table and matching chairs. Rec'd short chairs. Problems getting them exchanged. The color of the chairs does not even resemble color of table. I like the design of chairs and table, and will be satisfied once I rec the correct chairs (height and color). I expect that will be weeks from now.

We purchased 9 of these stools. Per a previous review, the 7 made in Malaysia were a better quality all around. However, one of the bolts for the legs had no threads. It was a smooth shaft. [...] they are contacting the manufacturer to see if they can send another bolt. Hopefully, they will. It is black and an odd size - difficult to find in a hardware store.
