This is a great bunk bed. It fits great in the kids room for either sleepovers or kids sharing rooms. A great design and simple construction makes this bed suitable for the non-handy person to assemble. The colour is great and looks great with the matching furniture. Great drawer. It rolls and kind of locks shut the last half inch. I like the bumper stuff they put around the top too. All around happy with the burg furniture...Good stuff

My kids love their new bed. It looks great and the delivery white glove service assembled it; for some reason they were not allowed to take the plastic off the twin bed when they placed it on the top bunk.
My only concern about the bed is the upper bunk support... there are no horizontal slats and the upper bed is just supported by 6 metal brackets. The paperwork says it can support up to 200 lbs, however, when a 165lb adult was on top of the upper bunk you could see the support board move, which wasn't very reassuring in terms of safety. The bottom frame can accomodate a regular queen matress but there is not much room for the night stand.

If you have two girls, this is the way to go. The only problem is having your kids fighting over the top bunk. I would know.

I love the storage compartments on this bed. I was able to fit all of my daughter's clothes from 6 drawers into the large one under the double bed. My son gets to use the stair drawers and there is room to spare. Because it is a large piece, the storage means no extra dresser to take up more room space.

It is the perfect "guest-spare" room. My grandchildren love to come to be able to sleep on the bunk...and Grammy and Pop Pop love the stairs and the safety of this bunk.

We have four girls and two bedrooms. We have been through numerous bunk beds and kids beds. Somewhere we stumbled across the Berg Twin over Full and found the solution to the "space saving" challenge.

The White Glove assembly service was awesome (although I worry when and if we ever move or want to move the bed). And the kids love it.
There is room for everyone in the full bed.

The ususal challenges with bunk beds is changing sheets but I figure its a good work out.
And, the hanging shelf is so-so. It is almost a bit of a danger to the kids because the little one (3 year old) might run into it as it hangs down into the "air space" of the full bed.


But overall it has been very nice!

The drawers in the stairs are deep, and open very smoothly. Large storage drawer under bed also. A great space saver for a smaller room. Eleven year old daughter says she is keeping this bed forever!
