    Comments about BDI Novia LCD/Plasma Wood TV Stand in Natural Cherry Finish:

    Nice product - ordered Friday night arrived following Thurs. Excellent packaging and protection; did not have any damage upon arrival.

    The 8428 accomodates my 4 components, playstation, large center channel, main spkrs, and 37in LCD. Selected this product over Diamond Case for price, availability, and overall design.

    The smoked glass top insert does attract and show dust. Also, the component doors needed some adjustment to make them straight and level, but look and operate nominally after some fine tuning.

    Beware that the casters are narrow and leave small grooves on my commercial grade hardwood finish when rolling the unit too much or too far. BTW, there are five adjustable round feet for semi-permanent use/placement.

    The middle hinge assmebly broke immediatally upon opening the multi function cabinet door. Also, a few of the screw in metal shelf pegs were over-tightened and/or were 'glued' in place by the finish. One completely backed out the peg holder mounted in the wood itself. I called BDI directly to advise. They sent 2 new hinges, several shelf peg assemblies, and wood glue to repair. BDI was aware of the problem and quickly sent replacement parts FOC. The hinge was replaced with ease but have not repaired the shelf holders since everything is alreay set up and running in place.
