I was shopping for the right bed for my new place for almost a year. Every one I looked at that I liked was well above my comfort range, and everything in my comfort range was less than stellar. So far, everyone who has seen this bed estimated the price to be at least 3 times what it actually was! It's solid, REAL WOOD!! NOT JUST PAINT! The pictures of the intricate carvings don't do them justice -- they're far better than I had hoped! I thought for sure they'd look like stamped plastic, but everything looks like someone carved them by hand (in a GOOD way)! Assembly was *very* easy. The bed support system was a little different than what I've seen before, but in the end it took about 30 minutes to go from the box to me jumping on my new amazing bed!
