I bought two of these which were super easy to put together and look great in the home office. They're obviously not going to withstand the test of time being made out of pressboard but you get what you pay for. My only complain is one seemed to have a gash taken out of the front it wasnt worth while to me to return it.

The shelves are great looking however, putting them together wasn't a lot of fun. The directions are geared more to someone who puts furniture together all the time.
I bought 2 bookcases and of course the second set was easier to do than the first one, but really the directions should be a little clearer than they are.

I put this bookshelf in my living room and it's black finish goes perfectly with my other furniture. The size is perfect and is not too big and not too small for my apartment. The bookshelf arrived in perfect condition and was very easy to assemble.

We bought 2 bookcases and put them on either side of the fireplace. The black looks great in the room and the shelves closely match our maple woodwork. No trouble on assembly. Had one damaged piece, but after a quick toll-free call to the company it was shipped out quickly at no charge via FedEx. Not real crazy about the "cardboard like" bead board on the back, but for the price you can't beat it! With items on the shelves, the "bead board" looks ok.
