I have never written a product review before but I feel compelled to on this item. I purchased this item in the fall of 2006. It was easily assembled and the appearance/function was perfect for my young teen daughter's bedroom (we purchased matching chest of drawers, bookcase headboard, and platform bed as well). We used the armoire as an entertainment station. Within 8 months of delicate use it was like the pieces just began to separate, causing the interior shelf to collapse and drawers to no longer fit inside the runners. I tried to tighten it back up, thinking the attaching fixtures had just loosened, but there was no hope...it could not be fixed. I would strongly advise anyone considering this piece to look at more durable options. I would have been much better off purchasing a slightly more expensive but durable item. It was a total waste of my money.

I use my armoire to hide 2 unsightly trash cans in my foyer. A friend who is mechanically inclined put it together for me in about 4 hours, so it is not easy. But that is the only con. I would definitely recommend this product for attractive design, sturdiness and price and how well made. Thumbs up :-)

Using it for my daughter's bedroom in place of a dresser. It does hold alot of her clothes if you don't use the hanging part. Be careful when putting it together because you can easily hit a dowel through the sides. I would recommend it to a friend if they're not looking for a designer, top of the line item. This is nice for a kids room. The price is right for when they beat it up. Don't let all the pieces scare you; my daughter an I put it together in about 2 1/2 hr. with interruptions.

Makes for really great closet space due to master bedroom has no closet. Would recommend for any room as well.

This product was very nice for the price. However, shipping time was very slow. Also, missing harware that was needed to assemble. I am still waiting to recieve the screws needed to complete assembly, 8 days after requesting them.

I use this product to house pants. The drawers at the bottom are very spacious and there is room on the pole to hang about 15 pairs of pants. I was impressed by the quality of this product.
