  • This Mendocino Collection reception station blends transitional style with stunning craftsmanship. The hardwood veneer surfaces have a high-gloss finish and are hand selected for their natural beauty. There are three beautiful finishes to choose from: Mahogany, Maple and Light Cherry. The reversible design makes the "L" workstation fit on any wall in your reception area.

    All surfaces have common grain directions for a unified look. The return incorporates reverse-cope edges for a smooth worksurface connection. For storage there are two pedestals on each end. One pedestal consists of 2 box drawers and 1 file drawer. The other pedestal has 2 file drawers for additional storage. Pedestals are fully assembled. Reception Unit requires some assembly.

    I'm describing myself as a budget shopper only because I research prices thoroughly before I buy. After comparing the cost[...] on desks, this was the best buy by several hundred dollars.The desk is ideal for reception. It's wood with quality laminate on the top surfaces. The overall appearance is superb. I immediately had a custom glass top put on the top surfaces to prevent scratching the laminate, and would recommend doing this to anyone who buys the desk (or any wood or laminate-topped desk).You need to be aware that the desk ships in multiple crates. The towers ship assembled, but the top is not attached so you can put the return on either side. This creates a problem. Whoever assembles it has to disassemble the towers and then get physcally inside of them to bolt the top on. There are supports inside the towers that complicate this process. Attaching the top therefore is a difficult and surprisingly time-consuming task. However, once the top is on, it's a very functional and good-looking desk.
