Lea Furniture – A Division of La-Z-Boy
David M. Lea & Company began their business in Richmond, Virginia, back in 1869 by making packing boxes and crates for local farmers. By 1969, they had expanded into the low and mid-range furniture sector with dining room and bedroom creations. In 1969, stamp company Sperry & Hutchinson decided to purchase the Lea Furniture business. Lea has since carved a niche in the youth furniture division. Eventually purchased by La-Z-Boy, Lea Furniture has remained one of the leading manufacturers of youth-inspired furniture. Read More

Sauder Shoal Creek 4-Drawer Chest in Jamocha Wood
- Shopper in
I purchased the Sauder Jamocha dresser, chest, and a nightstand for occasional use in a fairly small guest bedroom. Items were s
hipped quickly, packed extremely well, and arrived in generally good condition. I say "generally good" because each piece had some type of damage related to the shipping process. On the plus side, the Sauder web site allows for the ordering of replacement parts and those item are shipped very quickly at no-cost to the consumer.
Assembly does take a bit of time, but there are a lot of parts, so that is to be expected.
Although the veneer itself is somewhat thin, the Jamocha color is very attractive and rich.
The end result is a set of very low-cost, but still stylish and high-value furniture that is perfect for its intended purpose.

DaVinci Parker 4-Drawer Wood Dresser in Cherry
- Shopper in
This dresser came in a cherry wood, which is the perfect compliment for the new crib in our sons' room. It really is an attracti
ve design, which really makes the room look nice as a whole.
The two things that weren't so great is that 1)it does not come in a 3 drawer model. I'm pretty tall, so it's not an issue for me, but my lady is a bitttt shorter, and it proves to be a challenge to use the top of the dresser as a changing area for the new baby. A minor complaint....
And 2)it was nottt an easy assembly. Some 'holes' that were supposed to be on the back panel, in fact were nottt. The picture design on the instruction sheets are veryyy small and hard to read as well. I know there is an easier way to design and map it out.
Other than that, I'm very happy with the dresser.
