I purchased this armoire to replace an oak computer desk and metal file cabinet in our finished basement. The old desk and cabinet was an eyesore. This armoire is a beautiful piece of furniture with adequate storage and best of all; you can close it to hide the computer. It blends in with our other furniture nicely. We just love it. My only negative comments are that the bottom drawers rub on the carpet when we open and close the drawers. The armoire itself is very heavy.[...] The two pieces are over 500 pounds so it's too have for the average person to move. But that's what makes it excellent quality. [...] I am very happy with this purchase.

I really needed something to keep my computer from being accessed by my toddler, but was uninterested in most computer armoires because I would be unable to put my feet under the desk. Because of the removable filing cabinet, it is possible to do so. The cherry color is beautiful.
