How to choose a media storage unit

Perhaps the best-known media console, the cabinet with doors sits boldly against entertainment room walls, elegantly – and neatly – concealing entire CD and DVD collections inside. Floor stand

The floor stand, otherwise known as a media tower, DVD rack or CD rack, is commonly used as a more casual storage alternative to the media cabinet. Wall mounted media storage offers a sleeker, more modern look that suits new or renovated spaces, and while the expectation is that wall mounted media shelves hold less than their floor-based counterparts, this is often not the case. It is now common to find sturdy floating media shelves that hold many hundreds of CDs and DVDs.
