[...]there are no written instructions. Only diagrams. Be careful not to drive the wood dowels too far. Especially when assembling the center supports/shelves. They will push completely through the backside. It would have been extremely helpful to know this in written instructions. So I needed to order some new parts[...] I should have guessed it. Now I will be lucky if I get the unit completely assembled by next Christmas.

Used with a 46" Sony Bravia LCD, and a Paradigm "Cinema" sound system. They're all black in color and compliment each other perfectly. "Zorro" would be proud of this setup.

The only complaint that I really have is that the access holes on the back are too small. I have a higher end system and use some thicker than normal cables so things get tight in a hurry. Most TV stands just use a piece of cardboard type material for the back which can easily be cut. This stand actually uses a solid piece of paneling, so if you want to make the access holes larger, make sure you have a saw.

My husband assembled in 4-5 hours. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and appearance. The TV is black and the unit is black. It looks really sharp in the room. There are 3-draws to hide all the clickers and the 2 glass doors give it a contemporary finish look. Very satisfied customers.

It is very stylish and practical. IT is not hard to assemble but do have some tricky parts. The drawers are a bit stiff and the original location of the holes are a bit off. We had to drill new holes for it. It is quite hard to wire all the equipments with the back installed. The wire holes are a bit small. Other than that, I love it.

There are many reviews out there for this product, and I read most of them. Most complained about difficulty of assembly. In my oppinion, it was more tedious than difficult, and it took me three hours alone to put it together. The instructions were decent, but could use some updating, like when separating the sliders for the drawers, there are no explanations, but just one picture showing to pull the two pieces apart. There is no indication to angle one of the pieces so they could actually slide apart. Maybe a few words would have helped.
Otherwise the product is excellent, fit and finish perfect, and I would recommend this product to anyone. The quality is as good as what you would buy at a better store, only you don't have to pay for assembly.

Overall this is a very good looking and functional stand for my Plasma TV. The assembly instructions were only adequate (pictures only). Lots of parts. It took about 4 hours to assemble and then I let the glue dry overnight.
