I have my flat screen TV mounted above my fireplace (it was my only option) and this is a perfect piece to hold components (cabl
e box, DVD player, etc) next to the fireplace if your wires are hidden within the wall. Perfect height too since a lot of these pieces are too short. I put it together myself, so it took a little longer than anticipated to complete, but all in all a superb piece! Looks exactly like the picture.

VTI NGR Series Audio Rack

Well made product with ample horizontal and vertical spacing for both equipment and connections. The smoked glass shelves and b
lack posts allow the electronics and wiring to disappear into the background along with my Paradigm Reference speakers, and Denon AVR4311CI which are also finished in black. Another great feature is the ease in which it can be moved around despite its weight. This is because the four solid posts provide comfortable handles and the caster bearings are designed for the load.My only disappointment with the unit was the method used to secure the top shelf to the posts. Two of the post connectors that were adhered to the top came loose as I began to connect the post to them. This was not a big problem. All I needed to do was apply some circular "super-adhesive" velcro mounts (purchased at [...]) between the post and the conectors underneath the top after the rest of the unit had been assembled in order to keep the top securely in place. I would have preferred that the top be connected like the shelves with a post bolt piercing the top and capped perhaps with a heavy domed nut. Like I said, however this was not a big problem and I'm very happy that I took he time to find the VTI NGR series. Nothing else I could find on the internet came close from the standpoint of quality, appearance and utility.
