          Comments about Atlantic Furniture Windsor Platform Bed with Raised Panel Footboard in Natural Maple Finish:

          Bought for kids room. We have a second platform bed with trundle option and this bed seems better constructed than the first bed (by other manufacturer), esp the slats that support the mattress. It is what I expected; it arrived earlier than expected; and I don't notice any defects with the wood. We assembled the bed in about an hour.

          Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

          Overall it is solid and sturdy. It looks good in my kid's room. However, the manufacture did not pay enough attention to details. The bed spindles are rough to touch. A long screw was missing from the hardware package coming with the bed. Since it is not a standard screw, the one I bought from store did not match the nut included. After shopping several stores, I ended up buying a bag of screws and a bag of nuts in order to assembly the bed. What a hassel.
