    This does hold CD's-that is why I purchased it. Found it difficult to place screws in bottom of unit. For the price, I am satisfied with this purchase.

        The best feature for me is that this unit is not slotted for single-sized CDs so it fits any and all CD cases. The other thing I wanted was for the CD cases to stack horizontally vs vertically - makes reading the titles much easier. It [...] was easy to assemble, and it looks great too.
