This headboard has the perfect cottage look for the guest room décor. The color is antique white which is more of a beige so be prepared to paint it white if you are looking for white furniture. The price is reasonable. The assembly was surprisingly a large job for a headboard as it came in several pieces. Who knew that was possible? However, all said and done, pleased with the purchase.

This looks great with my light blue walls. Color is more of a cream with distressed looking tan streaks. I have put together 4 pieces of this product line and it was one of the easiest however there were lots of pieces and the instructions were a bit confusing in my opinion. You need to pay close attention to positioning the pieces so that you don't end up having to remove some like I did. Since I didn't have help, I didn't even attempt to attach it to the bed but it is so heavy, it stays put between the mattress frame and the wall. I love the look of this product line - it gives a cottage look without having to pay high prices. I would not recommend it for a child's room, however because it is not solid wood and scratches and nicks are not so easy to repair.

As others have said, it is definitely not white. However, once assembled and in place, it blends in with my slightly off-white painted furniture & you'd never know it was a totally different color. I love the look and am totally satisfied with it. I am a single woman and could only get thru assembling about 3/4 of the way and then needed assistance. It is heavy, which is a good thing.

We love this headboard. We searched high and low with no luck. So we gave the internet a try. Glad we did. My husband had it put together in about 45min that's attached to the frame too. It's very pretty. If you want a white headboard this is not for you. I am happy with the antiqued stressed look though.

Love the look, required great deal of assembly. Is not true white as picture depicts online and on box received in but antique white requiring minimum of 2 coats paint for true white.

ASSEMBLED PERFECTLY NO SURPRISES. LOOKS REALLY NICE. ANTIQUED OR DISTRESSED IS A BETTER DESCRIPTION FOR THE FINISH. IT IS NOT WHITE. MORE OF A OFF WHITE WITH BEIGE TONES.

This headboard matched an armoire I already had in the room, so that was a big plus. The package it came in was so heavy, two people had difficulty maneuvering it and although the directions were good, it was hard to assemble.Be careful to not chip the edges of the particle board base.
