I bought this kitchen because for the price, it seemed like good value. I had read a couple of positive reviews on-line for it. I also liked that it was a bit larger than some of the other popular kitchens because I wanted something that would last longer as my daughter grows. Though I am satisfied with the kitchen, we were very dissapointed with the manufacturing of the product. I am currently getting parts replaced that came defective from the factory, and I'm certain that Cymax will replace them no problem, but it's a hassle. It's obvious that the factory that produces these does so in a mass-production environment and that the quality control is poor. It is unlikely that I will purchase from Guidecraft again in the future.

We got this for our 16 month old daughter for Christmas. This kitchen is adorable and very high quality. This also makes it quite heavy and large. Our daughter who is quite tall can barely reach the counter top and not the upper part. Though the directions were easy to follow it was very time consuming to put together. My husband and I spent 3 hours Christmas Eve working on it even with an electric drill, it would take forever to do all the screws by hand. I love all the extra little features like the clock, phone, and hooks. Lots of storage for food and dishes. It seems like a durable product that will grow with her for many years and I am very happy with it. Even a little jealous (it looks nicer than my kitchen now :)

Love this kitchen! It was THE Santa gift for both my kids this year (4 yo boy and 21 mo old girl). I looked long and hard for something both kids could play with at once but would still look decent sitting in my living room since my house is very small and has no playroom. The kitchen is all wood and sturdily made. I love the size. It is a bit big for my daughter (almost 2 yo), but still great for the 4 yo. I like that it is long enough for both of them to play side by side, though I wish there was a little more room between the stove and sink since those are the popular spots. There is lots of storage in the oven, dishwasher, refrigerator and cabinet areas. Melissa and Doug cookie sheets DO fit in the oven for "baking" (a small issue, but a surprising number of kitchen ovens I looked at were too small!) My only compliant about this kitchen is that it took a long time to build. It was a 2-2.5 hr job for my very handy husband. He thought it would be shorter since he is good at that sort of thing, but it just time consuming to put all those little screws in everything. Once it is done though, I think it is terrific!

The product is well made and all the holes match up for easy assembly. A lot of play value w/ this kitchen. (Ex. oven rack pulls out, a lot of doors to open and close, clock, phone, & hooks.)
