  • The Baroque Metal Poster Bed features a rich and florid decoration. It has four inch posts topped with massive casted finials and sturdy feet. The headboard grill is adorned with a large center casting and supported by high posts. The footboard has a concave design that tips in the center. It also has large sloping side rails that are as fancifully decorated as the grills. Even the Gilded Slate finish is really elaborate, with a back base and a hand-applied coat of mottled translucent white paint, it gives the bed a bluish hue highlighted with gleaming gold. This bed is certainly a statement piece and is perfect for large rooms.

          I needed to upgrade my massive canopy queen size bed to a slimmer, but king size bed. Amazingly, I'm saving space with a much larger bed! This frame is absolutely breath taking, and it's very high-end materials, on a budget. In case anyone is wondering, it DOES fit well with the Tempurpedic Ergo Advance system. That's the matress we upgraded to, and it fits perfectly. LOVE THIS BED FRAME!
